Have you tried various weight loss techniques and then ended up feeling at war with your body? Together, we will design a plan that feels authentic for you and takes into account issues such as self-talk, nourishment, emotional eating, cravings, social support, healing your relationship with food, etc. You will learn why calories-in/ calories-out can be an unhelpful mindset and what sneaky environmental causes are at play.

What to Expect

60- min Intake session via video chat 

45- min follow-up sessions bi-weekly (6 total for the 3 month program; 12 for the 6 month program)

Unlimited Voxer and e- mail support between sessions!

Resources may include: book/reading recommendations, actionable worksheets/ homework, mind-body practices, guided audio/ video practices (Resources are curated to your particular goals)

Access to a private client portal and phone app where you can access resources, track food/ mood, and chat with me.

What are your credentials? 

I have a Master of Arts degree in Integrative Health & Well-being Coaching from the University of Minnesota, Center for Spirituality and Healing, and am a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). I have had multiple additional trainings, such as:

RYT-500 Advanced Teacher of Therapeutic Yoga,  Kripalu School for Yoga and Health, C-IAYT (Certified Yoga Therapist) in progress.  Other yoga trainings in Yin, Functional Yoga Therapy, etc. and Training in Food as Medicine and Advanced Mind-Body Medicine, CMBM

Functional Nutrition Courses such as Intro to Functional Medicine, Nutritional Biochemistry, Whole Food Nutrition and Supplementation, Evidence-based Nutrition from University of Western States 


Do you offer payment plans?

What if I don't want to focus on weight or anxiety?

No problem! If you think I can support you, shoot me a note here and we’ll get a consult scheduled. If it’s not a fit, I’ll do my best to refer you to a helpful person!!


Do you offer ongoing coaching?

YES! After completing a 3 or 6 month coaching program, maintenance packages can be purchased. We will design these together based on your needs. 


How do I know this will work for me?

Don’t underestimate the power of attention and intention. Facing an area you want to work on requires courage, and with a coach on your team, we can design practices that meet you where you are at today. Coaching can have a butterfly effect: small steps can lead to big changes when you have other people on your team. :)


How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching is not a replacement for mental health services. Our sessions focus on envisioning a healthier future, and creating lifestyle-related goals and practices to achieve better health. I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. I also do not deep-dive into your past or medical history. This is a fun, forward-focused interaction based on learning, growth and positive transformation! 


Does the weight loss coaching include meal plans?

No. I can offer resources for recipe ideas and guide you in how to think about creating a healthy plate, but I do not design meal plans. A nutritionist or dietician might be a better fit, if that is what you are looking for. I do, however, offer a way for you to track your meals with a mood-food journal, and then get feedback via text message or during our sessions.
